Hello

I’m running for Oak Ridge Town Council because I believe thoughtful leadership and active listening can build stronger, more resilient communities. As someone committed to both innovation and tradition, I want to bring fresh energy to the council, ensuring that our decisions honor the values of our residents while preparing Oak Ridge for the future.

About Me

Although I’ve lived in Oak Ridge for the past four years, my connection to this community runs much deeper. I’ve spent my entire life in Guilford County, growing up in Greensboro when it was still a smaller, close-knit city. Over the years, I watched Greensboro grow and change—sometimes for the better, sometimes with challenges—and that experience shaped how I think about community, development, and leadership.

When it came time to choose where my children would grow up, I chose Oak Ridge for its strong sense of tradition, its values, and its commitment to being a place where families can thrive. I didn’t just move here—I chose Oak Ridge because I believe in what it stands for.

Since settling here, I’ve had the privilege of serving on the Oak Ridge Parks and Recreation Advisory Board for the past four years, including the last year as co-chair. Our parks are a crown jewel of this town—spaces where families gather, children play, and our community comes together. I’ve worked hard to support and preserve these spaces, and I’m proud of the role they play in making Oak Ridge such a special place to live.

Professionally, I serve as the Chief Technology Officer of my organization, where I focus on leadership development and the innovative application of technology. I’ve spent years helping senior leaders strengthen their communication, decision-making, and vision-setting—skills I believe are essential for effective public service.

I’m running for Town Council because I want to bring thoughtful, forward-looking leadership to Oak Ridge. I believe in smart growth, strong values, and transparent governance. I believe in listening first—and leading always.

Together, we will build a better Oak Ridge.
