Bringing strategic thinking and collaboration to Oak Ridge governance
🛠️ Leadership isn’t just about making decisions—it’s about how you make them. Throughout my career in technology and public service, I’ve learned that the best solutions come from listening first, analyzing clearly, and acting with purpose.
As Chief Technology Officer for a national investigative services firm, I’ve led teams through complex challenges involving cybersecurity, compliance, and digital transformation. Whether it’s streamlining operations or navigating regulatory landscapes, I rely on proven tools like Lean Six Sigma and Value Stream Mapping to guide thoughtful, data-informed decisions. These aren’t just buzzwords—they’re frameworks that help ensure every step forward is intentional, efficient, and aligned with long-term goals.
I also apply Agile development models to manage projects with flexibility and focus. Agile isn’t just for software—it’s a mindset that values iteration, collaboration, and continuous feedback. In my work, it allows me to break down complex initiatives into manageable phases, adapt quickly to changing needs, and keep stakeholders engaged throughout the process. This approach ensures that progress is steady, transparent, and always aligned with the end goal.
But leadership isn’t just technical—it’s human. In Oak Ridge, I’ve brought that same mindset to my work on the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board, where collaboration and community input are essential. Whether we’re planning events or evaluating new initiatives, I believe in asking the right questions, engaging diverse voices, and building consensus around shared goals. The best outcomes come when we listen to residents, respect differing viewpoints, and work together toward solutions that reflect our shared values.
Problem solving, to me, is never about quick fixes. It’s about understanding root causes, anticipating future needs, and designing solutions that stand the test of time. That’s why I approach every challenge—whether in business or public service—with a commitment to transparency, strategic planning, and continuous improvement.
As a candidate for Oak Ridge Town Council, I bring this same approach to the table. I believe our town deserves leaders who are not only passionate but also prepared—leaders who understand how to turn vision into action, and action into lasting impact.
I’m running to serve Oak Ridge with purpose, clarity, and a deep respect for the community we’ve built together. If elected, I’ll continue to lead with the same principles that have guided me throughout my career: listen first, act thoughtfully, and always put people at the center of every decision.
